Partnerships
The UCCE Master Gardeners Fresno County continue to be our partners in providing members with learning experiences on how to become sustainable gardeners. The UCCE Master Gardeners and board members assist in advising, planning and developing our community garden and education component. Since 1981, the University of California Master Gardener Program has been extending UC research based information about home horticulture and pest management to the public. The UC Master Gardener Program is a public service and outreach program under the University of California Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR), administered locally by UC Cooperative Extension offices.

Champions for Change once support our efforts to create a community garden that promotes healthy living through nutrition. Their primary goal was to help reduce obesity and chronic diseases in Fresno County by developing a multi-sector coalition made up of community based organizations, schools, businesses and local agencies.
We continue to cultivate our partnerships with the Reedley Middle College High School students and the Reedley High School Future Farmers of America Club. The staff support and volunteer assistance from the students has been tremendous. Their enthusiasm and energy continues to be the driving force that has enabled our garden to grow. With their help, we have created garden plots, planted seasonal vegetables, and built several garden benches. We are forever grateful!
Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.

RAISING FUNDS AND COLLECTING MATERIALS
We continue to raise funds in a variety of ways. We are encouraging membership to our garden. Members will enjoy many benefits as noted on our Membership page. Also, we have plots that can be adopted and rented. The rental fees will help offset the cost of operations.
We continue to seek grant and foundation funding to upgrade our irrigation system, build a Harvest Building, a Greenhouse and build other garden structures. These upgrades will enable us to continue to grow and ensure our long term sustainability.
We also continue to seek donors and supporters for the materials we need to build out our garden areas. We need lumber for our garden plots and structures, and we need garden compost material. Any old, used or cull lumber is appreciated. We will need lumber such as 2 x 4s, 4 x 4s and 2 x 6s in any length. We can pick up if needed. Please let us know if you have any materials to donate.

This webpage is dedicated to our donors and sponsors. As the development of the Community Life Garden moves forward, we hope to attract donors and sponsors for the various infrastructure projects that are planned. These projects include rebuilding the irrigation system, creating more raised garden plots, and building more garden structures.
Corporate donors and sponsors will be recognized on our CLG Website, on our marketing materials and at special events. Corporate sponsorships will range depending on the types of support they can provide and the types of needs the garden will require.
