Garden Plot Rentals for Members
Our plan is to focus on increasing our plot adoptions and membership. Individuals interested in adopting a garden plot the first season, can do so without cost. Most plots are raised beds and are 4 ft. by 8 ft. in size. If the person wants to continue a second season, we will request a paid membership and garden plot.
The cost to rent garden plots will range for members depending on the size chosen. The CLG Board of Directors will set the membership and plot fees each year.
We are seeking school or service organization groups that are interested in creating their own demonstration garden plot for 2022. We also seek family groups that are interested. We would ask a single membership and volunteer assistance in creating your garden plot. Please contact us if your are interested.
Volunteer Hours for First Plot
Individuals that become first time members will be offered the choice of providing volunteer hours to pay for the annual lease cost of a garden plot. Some individuals and families that are seeking to supplement their food budget may choose to volunteer at volunteer events and for the Watering Team.
We want to encourage first-time gardeners to consider their commitment while volunteering to support Community Life Garden. It is anticipated that new members, if they choose to renew, will plan their renewal in advance and create a savings for the full payment of their renewal membership and garden plot.
Once a member, please use the Contact Us page to let us know your interest in a garden plot and size.
